The first FISH group meeting of 2019 took place at Faculty of Engineering of University of Porto (FEUP) on the 30th January. In the meeting, FISH group members Ana Luísa (research fellow) and Ricardo Oliveira (PhD student) presented their current work on Nucleic Acid Mimics-Aptamers constructs, as part of the NAM4Toxins project. Afterwards, Carina Almeida (senior researcher) presented her research on bacteriophages as tools to induce cellular death of pathogenic E. coli in ruminants. Finally, the DelNAM website was introduced to the group.
