The Biofilm Engineering Lab (BEL) Meeting took place at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP) on the 11th and 12th of June. Mathew Fields, director of the Center for Biofilm Engineering at Montana, USA, and Darla Goeres, Associate Research Professor from the same institution were invited to participate in the meeting both as speakers and as the juri of the lectures given by the Junior researchers, PhD students, research fellows and master student working at BEL.
