PhD 📜 student Beatriz Magalhães has presented her research, entitled “Agent-based Modelling: Simulating the Elongation Process in yeast”, this week at the 4th Doctoral Congress in Engineering (DCE2021).
Her work introduces a novel agent-based model (ABM) to simulate 🖥️ the elongation phase of the translation process in the yeast S. cerevisiae 🧫. The proposed model was in accordance with the data with a low deviation, holding considerable potential for future, more complex analyses 📊.
